What Makes Ba Na Hills Cable Car Da Nang A Must-Visit?
Ba Na Hills is a large entertainment and resort complex with a planned area of about 16,000 hectares. The tourism exploitation area accounts for a small part; the rest is a primeval forest belonging to Nui Chua Nature Reserve. So, what does Ba Na Hills have to attract tourists? Let’s find out right after this.
Golden Bridge

Golden Bridge is one of the most prominent structures in the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, Da Nang. Inaugurated in June 2018, the bridge quickly became a global phenomenon thanks to its unique design and spectacular location.
The length of the bridge is nearly 150m with eight spans, and the longest span is 21.2m. The bridge is located at an altitude of 1,414m above sea level, has a winding design like that of golden silk, and is held by giant hands. The designers used the best materials, such as the bridge deck made of Hopea timber, the stainless steel railing plated with gold titanium, and the bridge shell painted with gold.
The Golden Bridge connects Marseille station and Le Jardin D’Amour flower garden in Thien Thai Garden. This bridge is an ideal transit point for exploring Ba Na Hills. Walking on the Golden Bridge, visitors feel lost in a fairyland, between the clouds and majestic mountains and forests. This is a “check-in” coordinate that cannot be missed by anyone coming to Da Nang.
French Village

The French Village is one of the most prominent destinations at Sun World Ba Na Hills, designed to simulate the classical architecture of 19th-century French towns. Located on the top of Chua Mountain at an altitude of more than 1,400 meters, this place gives visitors the feeling of being lost in Europe.
Visiting this village, tourists feel lost in a fairyland in France. The houses here use classic Gothic architecture with pointed arches and stained glass windows. Typical works here that tourists cannot miss are:
- Saint Denis Cathedral: French religious and artistic symbol
- Du Dome Square: Where street festivals take place
- Chateau De Chenonceau: Recreating royal beauty
- Simulated villages: Brittany, Apremont-sur-Allier, Conques, Aveyron.
The Garden of Love Flower Garden
Le Jardin D’Amour is one of the most romantic and artistic destinations at Sun World Ba Na Hills. With an area of over 21,000 m² located on the mountain’s eastern slope at an altitude of 980 meters above sea level, this garden is likened to “a paradise on earth”.
Here, visitors can visit nine gardens with nine different themes. They include La Rivière De Rêve, Le Jardin Des Secrets, Le Jardin D’Éden, Le Jardin Au Vœu, Le Jardin De Mémoires, Le Jardin Des Epoux, Le Jardin Historique, Le Bois D’amour, and Le Jardin De Vignes.
Le Jardin D’Amour is located near the Marseille station, an ideal stop after visiting the Golden Bridge. From the center of Da Nang, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Ba Na Hills by motorbike, taxi, or tour.
Lunar Castle And The Eclipse Plaza
The two new structures at Sun World Ba Na Hills impress with their grand scale, mythological stories, and surreal architecture, taking visitors into a fairy tale world at the top of Chua Mountain. First launched in 2022, Lunar Castle simulates the architecture of medieval fortresses with ancient peaks and stone walls.
As for The Eclipse Plaza, it will open to visitors for the first time in July 2022. The ancient Greek urban area inspires the architectural style with 20 goddess statues. This square is a place that visitors cannot miss when visiting Ba Na Hills Cable Car.
Linh Ung Pagoda
If you are spiritual, you cannot miss Linh Ung Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the top of Chua Mountain, and is a sacred place with a 27m high statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Visitors can put money in the donation box and light an incense stick to pray.
